The Not For Profit, which announced it was taking over Presbyterian Aged Care’s (PAC) NSW assets and operations, including all its residential aged care homes, home care services, and retirement villages in the Sydney metro and New England areas in December last year, has now acquired the upmarket site in Paddington, 3km east of Sydney’s CBD on 1 November.
The Paddington property “The Terraces” includes the operations and assets in Seniors’ Living and Residential Care on that site, which is less than 500m from St. Vincent’s Hospital.
It features the Cottee Parker Architects designed 79 independent living apartments across four buildings, including the heritage-listed Scottish Hospital, and has been converted into house-sized retirement apartments, a theatrette, swimming pool, gym, landscaped parks and gardens and an on-site café.
It won the Urban Development Institute of Australia's UDIA 2021 National Award Winner of Seniors' Living Award and President's Award.
The Terraces also has a 100-bed residential aged care facility including a 23-bed dementia unit with a private garden.
