Bolton Clarke has completed its acquisition of Allity, becoming Australia’s largest Not For Profit aged care provider.
The combined organisation now employs around 10,000 staff servicing 70 residential aged care facilities, 36 retirement villages and more than 130,000 home care clients, and says it is among only 2% of Australian aged care providers offering a full continuum of care.
According to Group CEO Stephen Muggleton (pictured), Allity’s residential aged care capabilities will complement Bolton Clarke’s existing operations.
“Importantly, both organisations have strong clinical credentials with a focus on delivering innovative, evidence-based services to support resident health and wellbeing.
“Drawing on Bolton Clarke’s longstanding investment in research and deep clinical expertise, we are well-positioned to jointly deliver practical solutions like chronic disease management, hospital avoidance programs, dementia care, transition care and rehabilitation for more people,” he said.
The acquisition was announced last year, and followed Bolton Clarke’s purchase of WA-based Acacia Living Group.
