This week, two acquisitions by among Australia's largest aged care providers were completed.
Australia's last pure aged care provider listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, Regis Aged Care, completed its $35.5 million acquisition of Ti Tree Operations’ Village Glen Mornington and Village Glen Capel Sound aged care homes on the Mornington Peninsula, about 70km south of Melbourne.
With the addition of 262 beds, Regis Aged Care now has 7,750 beds across 69 residential aged care homes. The acquisition was announced in late September.
Estia Health has also completed its acquisition of Calvary Health Care's aged care homes in Robina Rise, Noosa, and Gympie Views, strengthening its Queensland presence with the addition of 406 beds.
Estia Health now has 78 aged care homes across Australia. The acquisition was announced in early November.
