Renders no longer cut it: Reside Communities builds display apartment to experience life in today’s retirement village

1 min read

Reside Communities has built a display apartment to allow prospective buyers to touch, see and experience life as it expands its Brookland Retirement Village at Robertson, an outer-southern suburb in Brisbane.

The launch of the new display apartment has already been successful with five buyers securing an off-the-plan residence within only one week of its opening.

Reside Communities is spending $40 million to expand the 20-year retirement village with a resort-style community centre and 92 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The first stage of the expansion is due to be completed this year.

“Providing renders alone isn’t going to meet the needs of the new wave of downsizers. Buyers are telling us they want to see, touch and experience the future of retirement living in present day, which is exactly what we're now offering with our new display ‘apartment',”
said CEO Glen Brown (pictured right).

“We're revitalising our existing established retirement communities for the better, introducing new improved amenities and premium care options, unlike anything else on the market.”
