Reside Communities completes $40M Brookland retirement village redevelopment, one of four in 12 months

1 min read

There are not many retirement living operators who can say they have four major projects in a year.

“Over the past year, we have also celebrated the completion of our Samford Grove expansion, the first stage of our Fairway Carindale village and the second stage of our showcase Esperance community on the Gold Coast,” Reside Communities CEO and Co-Founder Glen Brown said.

The $40 million Brookland redevelopment is in Robertson, 13.7km south of Brisbane’s CBD.

The four-year project has seen the construction of 91 apartments and a luxury, resort-style community centre, complementing existing villas in the village, which first opened in 1984.

Glen launched Reside Communities in 2018 in partnership with GreenFort Capital, growing its portfolio to more than 1,000 homes with a gross value of approximately $1 billion.
