RetireAustralia’s “The Green” proceeding in Brisbane after eight years in development

Construction is underway on RetireAustralia’s “The Green” village in Tarragindi, Queensland.

The $80 million, 94-unit development 8km south of Brisbane’s CBD has been in the pipeline for years, with the operator securing a 99-year lease on the bowling club site in 2016.

Architect Life 3A said the project is the result of “eight years of hard work” by RetireAustralia and the Life 3A project team.

“This exciting new addition to the Tarragindi local community will breathe life into the existing bowling club, with a new clubhouse and competition bowling green, all of which is expertly blended in with the new seniors living development.

“Life 3A are working closely with Hutchinson Builders to deliver the ‘Green’, which will provide unrivalled living for the residents in their 3rd Age and a vibrant new bowling club for the Tarragindi community,” the company said.

The first sod was turned on the site in August last year.
