Commercial Collective sells Golf Shores Retirement Village in Norwest, Sydney

Sarian Retirement Living has sold its Golf Shores Retirement Village in Norwest, 35km northwest of Sydney’s CBD to the Cranbrook Group.

Shane Nicholson, National Director, Health, Aged Care & Retirement, for real estate business Commercial Collective said the on-market sale was completed yesterday.

Described as a partially built brownfield retirement village with the first stage built in 2016, Golf Shores comprises of a community facility overlooking Country Club Golf Course.

The village consists of 12 two-bedroom Independent Living Units, six three-bedroom garden villas looking on to the golf course. All are occupied and there is a development application for around 100 additional units.

“Congratulations to the purchaser, Cranbrook Group, who will provide excellent guardianship and care to the existing residents of the village,” said Shane.

Cranbrook Group, founded by Executive Director Steve Bauer, is an Approved Provider under the Aged Care Act. Its division Cranbrook Care owns and operates the following Sydney businesses: Bayswater Gardens, in Inner West; Bella Vista Gardens, The Hills; Cranbrook at Home, Cranbrook Residences, The Hills; Lansdowne Gardens, Lower North Shore and William Cape Gardens, Central Coast.

Several ‘off market’ modern seniors living assets, both co-located, modern aged care facilities and retirement villages sales commencing for the remainder of the year and in 2023, are likely, added Shane.
