The new Aged Care Act is a blueprint for care in retirement villages – and operators and residents stand to be the winners. 

For village operators, such as LDK Seniors’ Living (the new Amberfield village pictured) and Odyssey Lifestyle Care Communities, that have thrived under the private aged care model, it is a big tick to accelerate their strategy. 

Even retirement living operators that don’t want to take the ‘care path’ should benefit from the new Act and the focus on the delivery of care services in the home.
