IRT CEO Patrick Reid has received the Harvard Club of Australia Ferris Family Fellowship, which sees him attend a six-day course Strategic Perspectives in Non-profit Management at the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts, next month.
The program is described as “delivering the strategic perspectives, practical frameworks, and leadership skills you need to drive high performance across the organisation.
“You will leave prepared to take decisive action and create a more responsive, successful, and sustainable non-profit organisation,” the course description reads.
Patrick says he is enthusiastic about completing the intensive fellowship at Harvard and looks forward to returning to IRT with an action plan of peer reviewed strategic perspectives, practical frameworks and leadership skills, IRT said in a media release.
Deborah Attard Portughes, CEO of the Women and Infants Research Foundation, is the other recipient of this year’s fellowship.
The Harvard Club of Australia with the support of the Ferris Family has, annually since 2021, funded two Not For Profit CEOs to attend the Strategic Perspectives in Non-profit Management program at Harvard Business School.
The Harvard cost of the 6 day course is US$6,100. The scholarship is $15,000.
