LDK’s sod turning ceremony on new $250M Amberfield Village

1 min read

The first residents are expected to move in early next year, with 52 of the single-storey, two to three-bedroom villas already sold pre-market.

LDK’s $250 million Amberfield Village on the edge of Weston, Canberra, will feature 52 villas and 272 apartments, with a range of amenities including a café, bar, restaurant, wellness centre, on-site grocer, barber, salon, gym, theatre, and dog and walking parks.

The new development – on 5.4 hectares – will take five years to build in four stages.

LDK, which saw Anglicare Sydney buy Cromwell Property’s 50% ownership of LDK in October last year, owns and operates two continuum of care villages: its first purpose-built seniors’ village Greenway Views in Tuggeranong, Canberra, and The Landings in North Turramurra on Sydney’s Upper North Shore, which LDK founder Paul Browne bought in December 2018.
