The topping out of its second 10-storey building in the group’s master-planned Bella Vista Haven retirement living community in Greater Sydney’s Hills Shire took place as Hills Shire Council approved the next stages of development.

The multi-stage community is situated on a 59,440 sqm site within the $3 billion Norwest Quarter smart city project, adjacent to Norwest Private Hospital and a range of medical facilities, metro rail, major retail and leisure activities.

Construction is by Growthbuilt, Jackson Teece and Nettleton Tribe designed the residential building, named ‘Corymbia’, which will deliver 83 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and a limited collection of two- and three-bedroom penthouses.

“Bella Vista Haven represents a long-term masterplan vision that aims to deliver nine buildings providing 437 apartments with extensive lifestyle amenities, and a co-located, privately managed 135-bed aged care facility,” Aveo’s Head of Development, Geoff Robinson, said.

Aveo opened the first stage of Bella Vista Haven in 2018, with 64 apartments alongside five-star facilities including a waterfront restaurant and bar, function room, gymnasium, outdoor gym, and yoga lawn, indoor bowls, billiards, and salon.

The award-winning community is currently sold out and Geoff said the sales launch of its second stage, ‘Corymbia’, would commence in early 2025.
