The private operator, which owns and operates aged care, mental health care, and retirement living facilities in Western Australia and Queensland, is undergoing a major expansion.
In 2020, Roshana acquired another aged care facility west of Perth from Baptistcare WA, two years after it took over three aged care facilities and one retirement village from the same operator which run under its subsidiary Burswood Care.
It expects its $14 million expansion of Valencia aged care home (artist’s render below) in Carmel, 23km from Perth’s CBD, to an 80-bed facility, to be complete next year.
A Roshana Care Group spokesman said it is working on the design detail for its $22 million new four-storey 120-bed aged care home in Victoria Park (main photo), 3km southeast of Perth’s CBD.
“We are going to apply for the build permit by the first quarter of the year, with an estimated construction time of two years,” said the spokesman. “The existing building will be demolished prior to the new build.”
The company has also earmarked $20 million for a new aged care home in Lesmurdie, 21km from Perth CBD, which has yet to have a start date. It already has an aged care facility, Sunshine Park, in the suburb.
