The board of the Victorian Not For Profit has announced its highly respected Founder and CEO will step down in July 2025.
“I can’t even begin to tell you how much I have loved leading Wintringham," said Bryan Lipmann AM, who founded Wintringham in 1989 after seeing how difficult it was for homeless people to source aged care.
"It has been a great privilege to work with, and for, some of the most inspiring people over such a long time. I am proud that together, we have made a difference to the lives of thousands of older people.
"Everyone at Wintringham is, in their own way, helping to care and advocate for some of the most disadvantaged people in our community.”
Bryan will take a well-earned holiday from July, and then expects to return to Wintringham in a part-time advisory role.
Wintringham has eight residential aged care homes in Victoria, in Melbourne and regional areas, and one in Hobart, Tasmania. The provider also delivers home care services in both states.
