The Queensland Not For Profit operator has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) after David Angell had served as its Interim CEO for over 12 months.
Kevin Griffiths, who has had an extensive 30-year career with The Emirates Group, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, British Airways, Ansett and British Aerospace, before working for Aveo Group as Chief Strategy and Digital Officer, and as Executive Director Shared Services for the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod, is the new CEO.
“We exist to show God’s love through the care we offer to those in need. We make a real difference to those around us – not just by what we do but by why and how we do it,” Kevin said.
Carinity Council Chair, Richard Wray, said Kevin "is passionate about people, customers, strategy, and technology. He has a heart to work with and through people to achieve great things.”
“We are keen for him to lead an expansion of the impact Carinity has on people across the state,” he added.
Carinity offers residential aged care, retirement villages, home care, disability support, chaplaincy, alternative education, and youth and family services including counselling.
