Nicki Doyle appointed Senior MD of new FTI Consulting Healthcare & Human Services practice

US-based FTI Consulting, a global consultant specialising in organisations facing crisis and transformation, has established a dedicated Healthcare & Human Services practice in Australia, appointing former KPMG Partner Nicki Doyle as Senior Managing Director.

Nicki has 16 years' experience supporting public and private-sector aged care clients in Australia and overseas, helping them navigate aged care policy, reform, regulation and changes to the aged care market.

Nathan Schlesinger, former Partner, Health Consulting, with PwC, has also been appointed Senior Managing Director. Nathan has many years' experience leading strategic and implementation projects for state and federal governments, public health services, private health organisations and the aged care and disability sectors, and has a particular interest in system redesign, capacity building and making the health system more patient centered.

The new practice will focus on supporting clients with system reform and sustainability, digitisation and productivity.

Nathan said, “We are at a pivotal moment in the care sector, where the sustainability of the system is under significant strain, yet we also have unprecedented opportunities through advancements in technology and treatment. As we face these challenges, it is essential to have the right strategies, the right capabilities and the right mindset in place."
