More than 50% of finalists nominated are or have been part of the DCM Institute's professional development program to improve the sector.
The current members nominated for the National Retirement Living Awards Village Manager of the Year title are:
- Jodie Shelley, Village Manager at RetireAustralia's Tarragal Glen Retirement Village in Erina on the NSW Central Coast;
- Chelsea Follett (pictured), Village Manager at Aveo Group's Forest Grove in Durack, an outer southwestern suburb in Brisbane;
- Kirsty Sparshott, Aveo Group, Gulf Point Retirement Village, North Haven, the north-western suburb of Adelaide;
- Emma Benjamin, Masonic Care WA's Ashlar Glen in Dianella, in the City of Stirling, Perth.
Former participants nominated for the national award are:
- Leanne Zannoni, Keyton's Forest Hills Retirement Village, in Nunawading, east of Melbourne's CBD;
- Robyn Leahy, VMCH Star of the Sea in Torquay, south of Geelong, VIC.
The winner will be announced at the National Retirement Living Awards, hosted by the Property Council and its Retirement Living Council, at The Star, Gold Coast, QLD, on 27 June.
