Bronwyn Pike AM has decided not to renew her contract that expires later this year, the workforce was informed on Friday.
The former Victorian Health Minister became Uniting's inaugural Board Chair in 2016 when Wesley Mission Victoria merged with Uniting Vic.Tas. She moved into the CEO’s role in November 2019, just before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
She will finish at Uniting on 30 June 2025.
“Over the last five years, Bronwyn has expertly completed the merger of Uniting’s 26 founding agencies to build a single unified, strong, sustainable, and values driven organisation,” Uniting Vic.Tas said.
“We have some time before Bronwyn finishes to look for a replacement and manage a seamless handover. We are profoundly grateful to Bronwyn for her exceptional leadership and her fearless advocacy for those most vulnerable in the community.”
Uniting Vic.Tas provides home, community and carer services to support people under 65 remain independent. It provides integrated services so care can be tailored to meet the clients’ needs and changing circumstances.
