Benevolent on West, the first vertical retirement village in Rockhampton, Central Queensland, has sold all two- and three-bedroom apartments.
The $47 million development, designed by Deicke Richards and built by Hutchinson Builders, also contains a rooftop terrace, private clubhouse and bar, a gymnasium, coffee shop, bowling green, a BBQ area, three specially designed gardens and an Art Gallery and School of Arts.
There is also Benevolent Living's co-located aged care facility, for which a refurbishment plan is being formulated.
“We are breaking down the traditional barriers of aged care by welcoming the community onsite in ways not seen before, through our art gallery, intergenerational activities, and even café, we are hoping to become a hub for likeminded individuals of Central Queensland to come together to create, learn and engage,” said Benevolent Living CEO Alison Moss.
