The Not For Profit aged care provider, which operates in Sydney's east and was created by the Greek Orthodox Church, has revealed new logos as it expands its home care and community services operations.
The rebrand has given the provider's three core services their own individual identities:
- Elysium - Independent Living by St. Basil's,
- Eurphoria - Support at Home and Seniors Social Groups by St. Basil's, and
- St. Basil's Residential Care.
The provider has also "significantly increased" its support at home and seniors social groups services in Randwick, Lakemba, and Miranda, buying a new bus to meet growing demand.
St. Basil's NSW/ACT has also partnered with consultants Rise Up to improve their in-house dining and catering experience.
Diana Horvatovic, CEO of St. Basil’s NSW/ACT, said, "This rebrand is not just about a new logo – it’s about enhancing our care and service for the community.
"We are proud to offer the highest standard of care, including improved dining services and expanded offerings to meet the needs of seniors today.
“This rebrand symbolises our renewed focus and energy to build a robust foundation from which we will continue to flourish.”
St Basil's NSW/ACT has more than 700 staff and operates aged care homes in Randwick, Lakemba, Miranda, and Kogarah. The organisation also has independent living units in Miranda and Randwick.
In May 2023, St Basil's NSW/ACT closed its Annandale aged care home, later selling it for $17 million. In January this year, the provider announced the closure of its aged care home in Kensington, 4km from Sydney's city centre.
St. Basil's Randwick was plagued by compliance issues and COVID-19 outbreaks in 2021. This week, Diana said St. Basil’s NSW/ACT aged care homes have successfully met all 42 compliance standards.
