Stockland Botanica, the property developer’s latest residential community of 2,000 plus homes in Ipswich, QLD, to fit in an over 50s land lease community

The masterplanned community will offer detached homes, terrace homes, townhomes, and a land lease community designed for over 50s and social housing, titled Halcyon Botanica.

Stockland Botanica, in White Rock, 20 minutes' drive from Ipswich and 30 minutes' drive from Brisbane, is a 252ha community in one of the country’s largest and fastest growing urban growth corridors. It will provide more than 2,000 lots and be home to around 6,000 residents once complete.

It is near Stockland Providence, in South Ripley, which is home to 4,800 residents and is projected to grow to 20,000 residents over the next 20 years. An Information Session for its land lease community, Halcyon Providence, is being held on 21 November. The first Halcyon homes started being constructed last month.

In Stockland’s 1Q25 update to the ASX, the diversified property developer said it had five new land lease communities expected to launch during FY25. On 30 June 2024, it stated it had 41 sites including in planning and under review. Halcyon Botanica and Halcyon Providence were not mentioned.
