Simple Foods was developed by industry experts to help aged care providers achieve food safety compliance. It provides IDDSI texture level allocation information, safe allergen management, meal tray ticket printing for accurate delivery, and real time viewing of consumer meal order selection.

The partnership between AlayaCare and Simple Foods will help residential aged care providers more easily meet the strengthened care standards contained in the new Aged Care Act Standard 6, which relates to food and nutrition.

Annette Hili, General Manager ANZ at AlayaCare said, “Having worked in aged care for many decades, I know how quality food and a great dining experience can make a difference to residents’ days.

"That’s why AlayaCare is thrilled to be partnering with Simple Foods by improving meal times for residents and making ordering and food safety management a breeze for providers as it will integrate seamlessly with our Residential Platform meaning no double handling for staff.

"As we navigate new changes with the Aged Care Act, AlayaCare is doing everything we can to help smoothen the transition for the industry.“

Matthias Larcher, Business Development Director at Simple Foods said, "By integrating with AlayaCare’s innovative platform, we’re helping organisations streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and deliver better resident care.”

Simple Foods is seeing a growing demand for lifestyle and culturally diverse diets in aged care. Their software helps providers easily manage and accommodate these dietary needs.
