The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) has published its latest set of Australian private sector employer gender gaps revealing for the first time each employers’ average remuneration, including a breakdown from frontline to senior leadership roles.
What’s new about this data?
In 2024, for the first time, WGEA published the gender pay gaps for Australian private sector employers with 100 or more employees from 2022-23 data.
This year, WGEA has again published employer gender pay gaps by median, for total remuneration and base salary, and the gender composition of the workforce, by pay quartile based on 2023-24 figures – including CEO remuneration in their calculations for the first time.
