The nominees for Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) NSW Awards for Excellence in Retirement Living feature three new Sydney retirement villages that showcase the future for the sector.
Anglicare’s Minto Gardens (pictured above) offers a range of one-, two-, and two-bedroom plus study retirement living apartments designed by architects GroupGSA, with two-bedroom units selling for $321,500.
Minto Gardens is next to the Porter Lodge residential care home, which is also a finalist in the aged care category.
There are 34 two- and three-bedroom residences with prices starting at $1.1 million and rising to $2.75 million, designed by Antoniades Architects.
Uniting’s Bowden Brae Gardens aged care home is adjacent.
The winner will be announced at UDIA NSW’s Gala Dinner at The Star Sydney on 12 August.
