Not For Profit Bolton Clarke has acquired Perth-based Acacia Living Group’s portfolio of retirement villages, aged care homes and home care services as it looks to grow its services in Western Australia.
Previously known as RSL Care WA, Acacia Living has three aged care homes, seven retirement villages, two respite centres and a significant range of home care services.
Bolton Clarke was formed out of the merger between RSL Care and RDNS in 2015 before changing its name in 2017.
Bolton Clarke Group Chief Executive Officer Steve Muggleton said the fact that both organisations share similar histories and values and provide a full suite of care offerings made the merger a natural fit.
Bolton Clarke notes that it is among only 2% of aged care providers in Australia offering a full continuum of home care, retirement living and residential aged care services, supported by the Bolton Clarke Research Institute and the Altura Learning group of companies.
The group currently operates 25 retirement villages and 25 aged care homes with a $700 million development pipeline of projects across Victoria, NSW and Queensland, plus 113,000 home care clients, making it one of the largest Not For Profit operators in Australia.
