CEO Yvie Webley says the new name reflects its passion to always aim higher (Altitude) and desire of its providers to improve the lives of residents (Altruism).
The educational content provider will now expand into the business-to-consumer market, in particular targeting the disability workers and carers where Ms Webley says “it is evident there is a significant need.”
She tells us they have built two learning solutions for this market:
- Altura Learning Academy, which provides accredited learning courses via video online. Currently two courses are available – CPR and First Aid – with more to be released soon.
- Altura Learning Shopfront, which will allow carers to access specific topics related to caring for someone or need to obtain more Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and will launch soon.
As we reported here, Not For Profit RDNS + RSL Care purchased Aged Care Channel last February.
Founded in 2003 by Andrew Ricker and Paul Bennett, it has since expanded across Australia before moving into the UK, Ireland and New Zealand.
