Operators and the wider sector will have just nine business days to make their submissions on the Aged Care Bill 2024 to the Senate's Community Affairs Legislation Committee inquiry announced last week.
Submissions will close on 30 September 2024, less than two weeks' time, with the Committee due to report by 31 October 2024.
The tight timeframe for the Senate inquiry is aimed at ensuring the legislation passed through Parliament this calendar year, giving aged care providers enough time to implement the reforms on 1 July 2025.
