BaptistCare to replace ageing regional aged care home with $17M new development

1 min read

The NSW and ACT Not For Profit has submitted a $17.9 million plan to demolish and rebuild its 30-year-old Caloola Aged Care Centre in Tatton, Wagga Wagga, 460km from Sydney.

Up to 80 residents will be housed within five wings with expectations the build will take up to 18 months to complete, The Daily Advertiser reported.

In an effort to ensure current residents aren’t disrupted, the construction process will be completed in stages if approval is granted by council, which is anticipated in the first half of 2021.
