Belinda Moyes appointed Catholic Healthcare Interim CEO

1 min read

Belinda Moyes, who was previously CEO of Barwon Health, one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, has been appointed Interim CEO of Not For Profit Catholic Healthcare.

Ms Moyes succeeds David Maher who left his role as Managing Director late last month after serving in the role for 10 years. Under his leadership, Catholic Healthcare more than doubled its size to $350 million revenue and $1.3 billion in assets.

With the sector facing enormous change proposed by the Federal Government, the provider’s board says Ms Moyes’ experience in the health sector will be invaluable.

“Belinda’s focus will be on people – our team, and the people we serve and care for every day,” said Catholic Healthcare in a post on LinkedIn.

Ms Moyes was CEO of Southern Adelaide Local Health Network from November 2012 to July 2016 before being appointed CEO at Barwon Health and then the Strategic Adviser, National Health Workforce Reform, for the Department of Health and Human Services Victoria.
