The CVA say they are seeking a “financial penalty” from Mr Snowden through the Frankston Magistrates’ Court, over his management of Berkeley Living in Patterson Lakes.
The serviced apartments were the subject of a sensational ‘A Current Affair’ investigation last September that was also picked up by Fairfax journalists Adele Ferguson and Sarah Danckert after their joint investigation with Four Corners into the retirement village sector.
Now the pair are reporting that CVA are alleging that Mr Snowden operated Berkeley Living between July and September of 2017 when he was not permitted to do so.
But the maximum penalty for one count is 50 penalty units or $8,059.50 – hardly a slap on the wrist.
