Family-owned Melbourne aged care homes join Opal HealthCare

1 min read

Opal HealthCare remains the country’s most ambitious aged care provider, building three to five new aged care communities every year.

It has also been on the acquisition path. Two homes in Melbourne’s north were recently added to the ‘Opal Healthcare family’: Keilor East Manor Care Community and Templestowe Grove Care Community.

Both homes were formerly family owned and operated, however the family made the decision to sell the homes to the For Profit provider, which has 91 aged care homes.

Keilor East Manor Care Community

Fifty-bed Keilor East Manor Care Community, which is located in Keilor East, 13km northwest of the Melbourne CBD, is currently undergoing redevelopment.

Templestowe Grove Care Community has 83 beds and is located 16km northeast of Melbourne's CBD.
