St Basil’s NSW/ACT has listed its vacant aged care facility at 252 Johnston Street, Annandale, for sale.
The property is "surplus to [St Basil’s NSW/ACT] operating requirements”, a statement from the Not For Profit aged care provider said.
Funds from the sale will be used to refurbish St Basil’s NSW/ACT’s operating aged care facilities in Sydney’s south and east, and to expand the provider’s services.
St Basil’s NSW/ACT’s five aged care facilities are located at Randwick, Lakemba, Miranda, Kogarah and Kensington. The provider also owns Independent Living units, Day Care Centres, and offers Care at Home.
Ray White Commercial is managing the sale.
St Basil’s Annandale was formerly known as Sister Dorothea Village and has 83 rooms with city views. It features flexible zoning and is close to universities.
