Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) signs deal with Global Ageing Network (GAN)

1 min read

All LASA members will have access to GAN’s (formerly the International Association of Homes & Services for the Ageing (IAHSA)) resources, networks and support at no extra cost under the new partnership.

The Global Ageing Network, which represents over 26,000 aged service organisations, is currently chaired by BallyCara CEO Marcus Riley, who says the new arrangement offers a number of opportunities for LASA members.

“A key focus for the Network is – as the name suggests – to connect people and organisations who share aligned values and priorities,” he said.

Mr Riley has also been a member of the Steering Committee for GAROP (the Global Alliance for the Rights of Older People) directed by the United Nations since December 2016.
