Arcare has proposed a new 96-bed residential aged care facility for the town of Huntlee in the NSW Hunter region.
The Marchese Partners-designed home, to be built next to Sencia’s under-construction Green Ridge Hunter Valley retirement village, will provide aged care services to a growing town that is estimated to eventually have a population of 20,000.
According to Arcare CEO Colin Singh (pictured), Arcare Huntlee will be connected to the Green Ridge Hunter Valley village to provide an “integral and connected part of the new Huntlee community”.

We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, architecturally designed aged care facilities and hope to provide residents of Huntlee and the broader region their own five-star aged care community.
“The planning process is in its early stages and we are consulting with interested residents, property owners, businesses and groups to better understand issues and opportunities for the site,” he told the Cessnock Advertiser.
Arcare has opened the plans to public consultation, with the aim of informing its Environmental Impact Statement, until 23 November. The news follows the provider’s recent opening of a new aged care home in Brisbane.
