The West Australian Not For Profit has announced that Clare Grieveson commenced in the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) last month.
With over 25 years’ of experience in senior leadership roles in the health and aged care sectors in both Australia and the United Kingdom, Clare was previously the Executive Director Quality, Safety and Innovation at Mercy Health for eight years, and has also held senior management roles at Monash Health and the Victorian Department of Health.
Clare will be leading the organisation’s ageing in place strategy, which sees residential care, independent living, home care and health and wellness services delivered on one site.
In announcing the new appointment, Chair of Southern Cross Care WA, Bradley Prentice, said: “Clare will lead the executive team to deliver the organisation’s vision, mission and values through a new and exciting stage in the organisation’s history.
“She is a high calibre executive, with extensive experience in advisory roles on government policy issues and changes currently affecting the health aged care sectors, and we are very happy to have her join us as CEO at Southern Cross Care WA.”
Clare tells The Weekly SOURCE that it was important to her to work for a values-based organisation.
