Mercy Health will open a new residential aged care home at Harris Park, near Parramatta in Sydney’s west, early next year.
The home, Our Lady Mercy Place Harris Park, will comprise 85 rooms with private ensuites, alongside amenities, health services, and medical services. Located adjacent to Our Lady of Lebanon Co-Cathedral, it is being developed in partnership with Maronite Christian provider Our Lady Aged Care Centre (OLACC).
“The local community has already shown strong interest in the home, with many people registering their names in anticipation of securing a room when the home opens next year,” said Mercy Health Group CEO Angela Nolan (pictured).
“We want to bring the innovation of a healthy ageing approach and our focus on care for the whole person along with our reputation as a provider of the best possible health and aged care in Our Lady Mercy Place Harris Park.”
Mercy is recruiting more than 100 staff for the home, which is expected to open in April 2023.
