Private provider lists historic Melbourne aged care home for sale

BlueCross, which operates 32 aged care homes in Victoria, has listed its grand Toorak aged care facility, Darnlee, for sale.

Darnlee was established as an aged care home 30 years ago, and was BlueCross’s first.

BlueCross announced the facility would close in December. The last residents will move out next month.

Located at 33 Lansell Road, the site is 3,580 sqm.

Darnlee is expected to fetch $20-22 million and is being marketed to other aged care providers.
