SCC NSW & ACT CEO Helen Emmerson named finalist for prestigious business award

Helen Emmerson, CEO of Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT, has been named a finalist in this year’s Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Helen, who featured on the cover of the new-look SATURDAY last month, is a contender for Female Executive of the Year in a Government or Non-Profit Organisation. The Registered Nurse said she is thrilled to have been declared a finalist.

“I am proud of what we have accomplished and to lead an exceptional team at Southern Cross Care, whom all share a passion for providing quality care for older Australians.

“I hope to contribute to raising the profile of aged care by seizing opportunities to innovate and promote the wonderful stories in our sector,” she said.

The Stevie Awards, now in their 19^th year, are a worldwide award for female executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and their companies. The winners for the 2022 awards will be announced on 11 November.
