Family-owned aged care operator TriCare will open a new luxury aged care facility in Williams Landing, 20km south west of the Melbourne CBD, next month.
The $30 million, four-storey facility will have 126 beds, and is located close to Williams Landing train station, parks, shopping, and healthcare facilities. Fully wheelchair accessible Altona Beach is 15 minutes away.
The home will feature communal and private dining areas and lounges, a glass conservatory, a wine bar, a cafe, in-house cinema, and salon.
TriCare, which is owned by the O’Shea family, acquired the land from ASX-listed developer Cedar Woods, and will own and operate the facility.
TriCare has nine retirement villages and 15 residential aged care facilities in Queensland and NSW.
