NSW-based Not For Profit aged care provider Warrigal has appointed Jenni Hutchins (above), CEO of early children’s education provider Big Fat Smile, as its new CEO.
Jenni, a registered psychologist and graduate Company Director, has extensive experience in both the Not For Profit and government sectors, and says she feels “lucky and blessed” to begin working at Warrigal.
“I have the opportunity to continue to pursue my passion to lead a culture-led and values-based organisation, work with an amazing Board, be surrounded by phenomenally skilled people and develop, build and advocate for our community.
“I am grateful I have been chosen and look forward to continuing to participate in communities in which I have formed strong and collaborative working relationships,” she said on LinkedIn.
Outgoing CEO Mark Sewell (pictured), who announced his retirement earlier this year, has described Jenni as “highly qualified and a great advocate”, and praised her “passionate leadership” in community services.
“I’m absolutely confident she is going to lead Warrigal into a successful future with the backing of the Warrigal Executive and Management Team. “She is very well-connected in our region, and will only increase Warrigal’s expansive network of resources to help achieve our goal of assisting older people to live great lives,” he said.
Jenni will start her new role on 7 November, followed by a hand-over period with Mark.
