Toowoomba Mayor Paul Antonio will turn the soil on the site of The Ninth Middle Ridge, Aura Holdings’ latest village being built next to the course’s ninth hole.
Expressions of interest are now being received for the 85 two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments which will be built over three three- and four-storey building overlooking the golf course.
Aura Holdings Director Tim Russell says the current pandemic has made it obvious to many retirees that living in a supportive community surrounded by friendly neighbours such as The Ninth was a far more attractive option than self-isolating in their homes, often cut off from family, friends and support services
McNab is partnering with Cox Architecture on the village with construction expected to be completed around September 2021.
Aura now has six projects in various stages of development in Queensland’s southeast.
