The first two towers of the six-stage village redevelopment – just 16km south of Brisbane’s CBD – are now expected to be finished in July.
Once completed, the project will deliver 432 independent living units and a 115-bed high care facility.
The existing Aveo Carindale retirement community opened in 1985 – the original single-storey units will be replaced by eight towers from six to 10 storeys as part of the redevelopment.
The refurbished Carindale will be the largest retirement development in south-east QLD, sitting on nearly three hectares of land.
