BaptistCare NSW/ACT, the Not For Profit Christian based care operator, is building a resort as it expands its retirement living portfolio.

In BaptistCare’s annual report, Chair Robert Dunn and CEO Charles Moore revealed it has completed stage two of the BaptistCare Maranoa Village development, with an additional 15 new units being added to an existing 40 units in Alstonville, in northern NSW.

Final sales for the third stage of The Gracewood Community in Kellyville, 36km northwest of Sydney’s CBD, were taken, marking the conclusion of the nine-year development.

Construction and sales are continuing on BaptistCare’s latest independent retirement community Yarra Rossa in Red Hill, Canberra.

Richard Crookes Constructions commenced site works in November 2019 and the resort, which is divided into five precincts, will feature one-, two- and three-bedrooms apartments, some with studies. Features include a community bus, pool, gym, community garden, bowling green, Bocce court and outdoor chessboard.
