Gimbawali Place, BaptistCare’s community housing project for over-55s and single-parent families at Carlingford in Sydney’s north, is due for completion early next year.
The Lendlease-built complex, which completed its structural phase earlier this year, will comprise 162 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, 60% of which will be reserved for seniors.
“Featuring communal spaces including a children’s playground and kitchen facilities, a basement carpark, and landscaped surrounds, the development will be a welcome home for many,” the operator said.
Once complete, the development, which was enabled via the NSW Government’s Social and Affordable Housing Fund, will bring BaptistCare’s community housing stock in NSW to over 650 dwellings in 13 locations around the state.
