The Not For Profit already has 25 retirement villages and 25 aged care homes across NSW and QLD, but Europa on Alma at St Kilda (pictured), 6km southeast of the Melbourne CBD, will be its first venture into Victoria.
The six-storey building will feature 81 one-, two- and three bedroom apartments designed to be fully accessible set around an internal courtyard plus a cinema with bar, private dining area, library, creative studio for arts, crafts and woodworking, gym and a ‘sky room’ with views of the city.
Bolton Clarke will also deliver its home support and nursing services into the units as people age as well as a hotel-style concierge service for daily tasks such as dog walking and booking for the on-site share car.
It’s due to open in 2021.
