A development application for a $14.6 million three-storey Community Apartment Project (CAPs) seniors housing development has been lodged in Terrigal on the NSW Central Coast.
James Moses, director of JMGM, is negotiating with Central Coast Council to redevelop a sloping site, just metres from Terrigal Esplanade and beach, to feature 25 self-contained one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.
“Part of the site was my grandmother's house and she lived there until she was 96. I thought about town houses but I chose to put a vertical village senior living development under strata title for over 55s. I will organise a bus to take the residents into the town twice a week,” he said.
The development also includes a three split-level basement carpark with 34 spaces.
