The community Not For Profit is on track to sell out the second stage of independent living units at the $140 million development, 12km southwest of the Perth CBD – 18 months ahead of their completion.
You can check out their site here.
The first Stage 1 of 20 units – priced from $850,000 up to $3.3 million for the penthouse – already sold out on their release in March last year.
This stage is due to be complete in December along with a new 128-bed residential aged care home called ‘Marine Views’ to replace their existing Wearne Cottesloe home on the site.
The quick sales prompted Curtin to bring forward the release of Stage 2, which includes another 58 ILUs, three commercial spaces and the refurbishment of two heritage-listed buildings on the site, to June 2020.
56 of the two-, three- and three-bedroom-plus-study apartments – to be completed in December 2023 – are now fully committed, with 75% of buyers coming from within a 3km radius of the site.
“We have been absolutely delighted by the community acceptance and subsequent take up of our ILU offering,” Curtin’s Relationships Manager, Sherryn Rietdyk, tells us.
Once complete, the site will also be home to a café and dining space, art gallery and medical centre that will be open to the community, with community groups also being approached to meet on-site and add to the community feel.
Curtin has been serving Perth’s Western Suburbs for over 40 years and has another retirement village and aged care home at nearby Mosman Park.
