Stage one has finished on the retirement village’s Australis Apartment at Rossmoyne Waters (14 kilometres south of the Perth CBD).
As we reported here, the redevelopment included the expansion of the original 56-year-old, 76-unit retirement village (originally built in 1963), adding 86 new apartments and communal facilities, including a lawn bowls green and café.
14 of the existing units were demolished to make way for the new building.
The redevelopment’s second stage is earmarked to include a new residential aged care facility to replace the long-standing Sherwin Lodge.
