Levande’s $200M co-located development in Epping, Sydney, to be complete in April 2025

1 min read

Levande, the brand that EQT Infrastructure created when it bought Stockland Retirement Living in August last year, aims to make a statement with its estimated $180-$200 million redevelopment of the Diocese of Broken Bay’s site in Sydney’s northwest, 18km from the CBD.

Construction on the 7,290m/sq site is well underway to:

  • demolish the existing primary school, presbytery and Parish offices;
  • retention of the existing heritage church building;
  • construction of a 28-storey building including a retirement village of 172 independent living units operated by Levande, and a residential aged care facility with 132 beds operated by Levande’s health partner Opal HealthCare.
  • 317 basement car parking spaces;
  • 200 seat Parish Hall and offices;
  • Kindergarten – Year 6 Catholic primary school for 210 students, and
  • ground floor retail space for the Parish.

The existing site includes the heritage-listed Our Lady Help of Christians Church and the Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School. The church has existed on the site for over 100 years.

The Epping development (official name still to be decided) will launch Levande's premium brand.
