The land lease operator is continuing its pledge to grow at a rate of two new communities a year.
The site, located at Rockbank, 29km west of the Melbourne CBD, is part of the Town Centre precinct at Woodlea, a master-planned home to 7,000 people, with construction now forecast to begin within two years.
The new development will contain 180 homes, bringing the company’s portfolio to 4,674 home sites in planning, development or under management.
Managing Director James Kelly said the land purchase was an opportunity for Lifestyle Communities to lock-in a pipeline in Melbourne’s west – one of the fastest growing urban areas in the country – where they already have two communities.
