The first owners of the 54 apartments sold in the 74-apartment first stage of Livewell Communities’ debut retirement village, Aura, moved in last month.
“It’s going really well and we are really happy with it,” said Charlie Way, who along with Joe Trimboli is the brains behind Livewell Communities.
Aura is located in Findon, a western suburb of Adelaide, and is marketed as a resort-style lifestyle community for over 55s. There is an indoor heated pool, a fully equipped fitness centre and aerobics studio, and a spa and massage area.
“The community centre is here, and it is already the focal point for the residents of Aura. We have a happy hour with an acoustic band. There’s a five-star restaurant too,” said Charlie.
Charlie said he is managing Aura for the next fortnight before taking on other projects.
Firstly, there is the second stage of Aura, with another two towers being ready for occupation by next June. There is a choice of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments from $344,999 to $644,999.
“I’m hopeful that we can sell out by October,” he added.
Livewell Communities has two further Adelaide sites in the pipeline.
